BelleHarvest facilities are geographically spread throughout western Michigan, in locations best suited for growing capacity and maximum fruit quality and flavor.

Our packing and processing facilities utilize state-of-the-art techniques and equipment for the storage and handling of all fruit. And we operate one of the largest controlled atmosphere storage facilities in the eastern half of the United States.

Belding Fruit Storage is an 88,000 square foot facility that currently stores and packs over 80 different fruit grower's apples. The current storage capacity has been expanded to 330,000 bushel Controlled Atmosphere and 100,000 bushel cold storage. The 20 C/A storage rooms are connected to a permea nitrogen generating machine which allows for the quick modification of atmospheric conditions to preserve the quality of the fruit. All of the rooms are connected to David Bishop monitoring equipment which allows for constant computerized atmospheric readings within the rooms. The rooms are maintained with carbon scrubbers which produce a closed refrigeration system and permits the efficient maintenance of atmospheric conditions. This equipment provides Belding Fruit Storage with one of the most modern and efficient storage facilities in the industry.

The grading line has recently been upgraded with the addition of a Durand-Wayland continuous feed water dump, washer, waxer and drying tunnels. This addition, along with the existing 8 lane Powell computerized weight sizer and color sorter, gives Belding Fruit Storage the ability to produce a wide variety of different packs and grades.

Umlor Orchards is a 22,000 square foot facility located in Conklin. It has a storage capacity of 80,000 bushel Controlled Atmosphere and 5,000 bushel cold storage. Umlor Orchards has been packing exclusively for BelleHarvest Sales since 1966.

Roossinck Fruit Storage is a 25,000 square foot facility located in Fremont. It has a storage capacity of 70,000 bushel Controlled Atmosphere and 55,000 bushel cold storage. Roossinck Fruit Storage has been packing exclusively for BelleHarvest Sales since 1959.

Gavin Orchards is a 25,000 square foot facility located in Coopersville. It has a storage capacity of 52,000 bushel Controlled Atmosphere and 12,000 bushel cold storage. Gavin Orchards has been packing for BelleHarvest Sales since 1983.

Timpson Orchards is a 60,000 square foot facility located in Lowell. It has a storage capacity of 100,000 bushel Controlled Atmosphere and 55,000 bushel cold storage. Timpson Orchards has been packing for BelleHarvest Sales since 1961.
